What is known is that it is in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan. As the Prophet - صلى ا لله عليه و Sharia - says: ‘ it is located in the last ten (days) of Ramadan» [narrated by Al Boukhari and Muslim], and more precisely in the odd nights. But the odd-numbered nights must be posted (as well) according to the past and following that consideration they will therefore sought the 29th, 27th, 25th, 21st and 23rd night.

And after Oubaadah ibn As-Saamit (may Allah be satisfied with him) who said: “the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out to talk to us about the night of destiny, and two men among the Muslims clashed. He then said: “I came to tell you about the night of destiny (to announce the day of the night of fate), then so-and-so and so-and-so fought, and she was raised [relieved]; so may it be better for you as well; Locate so during the ninth, seventh and the fifth night”[i.e. the night before the twenty-fifth day, twenty-seventh day and the twenty-ninth day] (Saheeh hadeeth narrated by Al Boukhari)
