The feast of Thanksgiving comes from an ancient tradition the celebration of agricultural crops

This very popular celebration in the United States (Thanksgiving)
has been celebrated for the first time in 1621
by European pilgrims who came to settle in the American land.

It is said that on this occasion,
They feasted for three days with the Amerindian peoples
to thank them for having help acclimatize to their new environment.

Although this festival has much older origins,
the theme remains the same: to give thanks to Mother Nature
for the abundance of benefits it provides.

The Thanksgiving Feast (whose name means “Action of grace”)
is celebrated at the Canada on the second Monday of October
and the United States the last Thursday of the month of November.

In the United States, this festival is one of the most important of the year
in the same way that July 4, day of the national day or Independence Day.

Note that in Quebec (and the Canada) the feast of Thanksgiving is not the same scale
compared to the neighbours to the South, or the same content…
