A Fairy tale Home Wedding 2014
Home Wedding
Not all fairy tale wedding themes have to be a copy of the traditional Cinderella theme. Use your imagination and think outside the box.
Your wedding theme has to be inspired by a word, a poet, a movie or a motto that you both have liked since you knew each other.
If you both Bride and Groom agreed to choose a Fairy Tale Wedding Theme, you must consider the colors of your outfits, the bridal makeup, the cake, the invitations and the whole decorations.
Using lots of silver, plenty of pinks, pearls and rhinestones, champagne and romantic music set an intimate mood for your reception.
Also, Floating candles, satin ribbon and rose petals strewn the length of the tables offer a visual punch.
For The Wedding Invitations: create them in the form of an unfolding book to give your guests the experience that they were ‘unfolding a fairy tale booklet’ and enclose them with an envelope with a nice statement like : “A love story that should be told”.
For The Vows: write your own vows and read it to each other as a surprise on the day. Personalized vows really made it so special. You can then paste the actual readings in your guest book to have a forever copy.
For The Flowers: Opt for antique-styled color roses such as the Coffee rose that is champagne in color and pink-reddish and green hydrangeas that are structured loose or more compact depending on the container used.
An elegant and idea is to serve Wedding Cupcakes baked in black liners, Red velvet and dark chocolate cupcakes piped with natural buttercream and ‘rose’ piping and embossed with the words of the table names: Believe, I do, Love, Happiness, and Forever.
A very nice idea is to keep your wedding outfit line up with the overall theme.
Be sure the overall theme is elegant and simple in the same time, too much details don’t enhance your perception.
