The star-shaped cakes are very common for birthday parties. The easiest way to make a cake using a pan so with this form. Bake two cakes in the respective . Check that one of the baking sheets a little bigger. Then let the cakes cool completely in their roasters. When cool turn over the largest cake cutting board. Turn it over so the bottom is on the cutting board.

Cut the cake into six equal pieces with a triangle shape with a serrated knife. Then cut the rounded edge of each triangle. Be sure to cut these edges equally to each piece of cake left as a perfect triangle of the same shape and size. Put them aside.

Place the bottom of the smaller cake on cutting board. Imagine a perfect pentagon shape. Create form by cutting five small equal parts of the rounded edges of the cake all around. The form that appears after removing all those same pieces will be a pentagon.

Put the cake in the shape of a pentagon on the cake table. Place five of the first perfect triangles of cake against the five sides of the pentagon. Thus the cake is formed with a star shape. Cover and decorate as you wish. Come left parts of the cake or freeze for later use as crumbs on ice cream or desserts.
