Engagement, pre wedding, and wedding parties are such inducing for both bride and groom to show their stunning look.

Even the most die-hard T-shirt-and-jeans guy wants to look natty on his day. You don’t have to have a suit or tuxedo custom-made to guarantee a good fit. Buy one off the rack, then take it to a talented tailor for fine-tuning.

Whether you are hiring, buying or having something made to measure, the advice is to organize the suit about three months before the day.

It should fit perfectly, so consider that measurements may change with a weight loss/gym fitness program. Trousers should be long enough to form a short crease over the shoe and if you’re wearing a waistcoat it should be long enough so that no shirt shows between the waistcoat and waistband.

Trousers should be worn slightly above the waistline and rest on top of the shoe showing a slight crease at the front, with the back of the trouser sitting just above the heel.

A matching three-piece suit will always remain a contemporary yet classic style. A three-buttoned single-breasted jacket has an extra top button and a slightly higher lapel, which makes the jacket suitable for taller men. Double-breasted jackets are becoming popular again with modern grooms.

For the shoes, There are a multitude of different styles and colours for grooms to choose from, just look for quality features such as leather linings, good quality soles and leather uppers for maximum comfort.

As a rule of thumb, black shoes work with navy, gray and black suits. Tan shoes work with navy suits but rarely with black.

On your wedding day, it’s likely you’ll be wearing a new pair of shoes, but, for the sake of comfort, make sure you break them in first by wearing them around the house. You won’t look good if you’re wincing in pain and oozing a trail of blister juice down the aisle.

Lace-ups are a classic look but if the ceremony is a bit more informal then loafers can look smart.
